“Fantastic ruins, mostly ruined by the US bombing”
We booked a tour through our homestay to see the My Son temples. The easy way to get there is by a bus tour or personal guided tour, but being cheap we opted for the bus tour. The tour was fantastic, as were the ruins. It serves as a beautiful historic monument, not just for the people who built it, but also as a stark reminder of how war destroys cultural relics and people alike. This place was peppered with US bombs and the scars on the land and the buildings are testament to that.
Well worth the visit.
